Connect Series Heating Cables and make cold lead connections to be terminated in a junction box.
Each kit contains two terminations.
The spacer inside the housing ensures the electrical integrity of the connection. This makes the CKTES compatible with the complete range of Thermon Series Heating Cables, yet permitting easy assembly with a crimping tool.
With the same ease, different Thermon Series Heating Cables can be terminated in one CKTES connection kit. Additionally, circuit extension or repair can be achieved by combining two heating cables in the CKTES connection kit.
Heating cable and cold lead are terminated by connecting the cable ends together with crimp connectors (6). These are kept apart by a spacer (3).
The housing (1) will be filled with sealant (5) to avoid water ingress.
The cable entries are sealed by a combination of rubber grommets (4) which are tightened with screw caps (2).
